Midora

Midora was the leader of the Bishokukai and the main antagonist of Human World saga of the series which took place before the time-skip. Among the three most powerful humans on the planet, Midora inspired both fear and respect. He was trained by Gourmet God, Acacia along with his two adoptive brothers, Ichiryu and Jiro.

Past

Midora was orphaned from a young age and wandered from place to place, demonstrating commendable survival skills. He was adopted by Acacia and Froese- the Gourmet God's wife. Along with his adoptive older brothers, Ichiryu and Jiro, Midora learned knocking techniques, combat and how to unlock his gourmet cells under Acacia's tutelage.

Midora's early years are the happiest of the life as he reflects he felt peace and a sense of belonging. This positive state didn't last though: the untimely death of Midora's adoptive mother caused a change in his psyche, believing the world didn't deserve Froese's generosity and altruism.

Powers and abilities

Gourmet Cells and Appetite Demon

Midora's was born with powerful gourmet which stands out even among the most powerful creatures of Toriko earth. Given acknowledgement by Acacia as highly evolved, Midora's over five hundred year old lifespan has likely seen his cells constantly grow more powerful as he feasted on compatible ingredients. Due to the plethora food consumed in his time and his ravenous appetite, the food from Human World no longer caused his cells to respond. Even highly coveted recipes that resulted in such dishes as the Century Soup was numb to Midora's taste buds.

Midora's Appetite Demon manifests as a large turtle-like beast that its host uses for increased Intimidation and power supplementation. In addition, it's also utilized for special attacks like Meteor Spice or Meteor Laser which Midora used to bombard Human World and destroy Acacia's Gourmet Hand respectively.

Physical capabilities

Strength: Midora's physical might easily exceeds the capacity to lift 100 tons, rivaled only by Acacia, his brothers, Toriko and the 8 Kings, Midora is among the strongest beings on the planet. Toriko earth is bigger than Uranus and Midora's punch has caused planet scale debris to fly into the atmosphere upon indirect contact with the ground when punching Acacia/Neo. Additionally he has ragdolled Acacia/Neo across the planet: Acacia with Neo's cells activated, has individual spores, each having the gravitational energy of a large planet, making Midora's strength colossal to be able to send Acacia/Neo's full body flying.
