    On the eight continent Benoist can´t believe his eyes: His former mentor is nearly dead, he only lives because Jakobi wants to profit by his reputation. Malikai and Sonia drift apart further and further because of Jayden who doesn´t seem to be the nice girl she claims to be. Blackjack enjoys being a soldier of Rainier´s which means that she doesn´t have to hold back any longer so she brutally kills car thieves. In the meantime Seph and Grace try to free the baby dragon who is hold in captivity by the humans. When trying to free the baby dragon the two have to confront Blackjack which doesn´t end too goood for them.

    This issue is written by J.T. Krul (like nearly any other Aspen book) with art by Marcus To.   Storywise we can see a more darker side of some characters. For example Blackjack who enjoys working for Rainier which means she doesn´t have to hold back any longer. She is now allowed to brutally kill car thieves...of course everything in the light of keeping magic under control. Yeah, right! I think somebody has some severe anger issues. Another character who shows her dark side is Jayden who not on...
