Michaels his twin brother and equal in terms of power but they are only seperated in terms of intelligence, cunning, and abilities which Lucifer for all intensive purposes wins in each.

michael is not God but far more powerful than the so called gods... so technically he can call himself a god...not with the capital G

The Gods Must Be Crazy

Man, I'm so happy someone started a thread about this general topic, though I admit too, the author is a bit confusing here...I mean, what EXACTLY are we talking about??

The appearance of the Christian mythos mainstays Michael and Lucifer in DC Comics reveals a modern comics art interest in folk religion/mythology colloquialization. With all the recent media resurrecting the popularity of Greek gods, why not celebrate DC's investment in Christian 'gods'?

Michael is the brother of Lucifer and a child of God and hence an angel (or archangel). However, angels/archangels/seraphims are considered direct messengers of God and hence wield power/authority over governance decision-making in heaven, which alludes to the great war in heaven between Michael and Lucifer.

Doesn't it (nicely) seem that the appearance of Michael Demiurgos (DC Comics) invokes storytelling niceties about avatar floweries?

Imagine a 'comics apocrypha' in which Michael Demiurgos discovers he has a archangel knight/brother named Apollyon (also borrowed from Christian mythos) who unites with him in a contest with Lucifer Morningstar and Harley Quinn (maniacal ally of the trickster-terrorist Joker) over an immense apocalyptic gang war in Los Angeles.

Michael's position as an agent of God's wrath/intelligence creates storyboarding options regarding 'rapture rationalism.'
