    Mendez is working in Ritter's garage when Logan shows up. Mendez points Logan towards Ritter's office then ease-drops on their conversation. When Ritter tells Logan about Rojas human trafficking operation, Mendez shoots him and Logan. Mendez then sets the garage on fire, thinking that Logan is dead, but Logan's healing factor kicks in and Logan attacks Mendez.

    It is unclear how much Logan tortures Mendez but Mendez tells Logan he works for Rojas in Mexico
