I didn't read this issue yet, but I'm definitely anxious to read it. Since the beginning of Irredeemable, I loved the concept of a hero being unable to handle the pressure and crumbles into villainy. Now, the same concept, only the other way around is still an interesting concept.

I can't wait until the next book "Irrelevant", followed by "Irresistable", and the final chapter "Erotical."

I totally agree, Mark Waid did a great job with Irredeemable and now to see Incorruptible as a tie in to that same universe and setting gives me hope we'll see something great grow from it. I do hope we get to see some of Max's villainous past fleshed out at some point as the little we find out in this issue seemed like he could have a really interesting origin and background. I do also hope they flesh out the backstory between Jailbait and Max as well, because lets be fair here.....it is an awfully controversial and odd relationship they share.

    Turning a New Leaf Meaning:
The "leaf" from that saying doesn't come from a literal tree leaf, but another word for the page in a book is also sometimes called a leaf. I'm sure you've heard booklets are also called "leaflets". When they say "turning over a new leaf". The more accurate saying would actually be that you are "turning a new page in your life". I believe the phrase originates from the late 1600s and over the centuries it's changed into thinking of a tree leaf.

I'm unfamiliar with the series, but is Jailbait...literal jailbait? She doesn't appear that young. If she is get Chris Hansen on the phone.

Irredeemable is definitely underrated.  I'd love to see more talk about it around here.

@FoxxFireArt: Yeah she is underage and yes it would appear there was/is some romantic involvement between the pair. Brilliant character name if you ask me.

    Incognito?  What?

Seriously, though...I think I'll have to check out both Irredeemable and Incorruptible.

I liked Irreddeemable very much, and I was glad then they did spin-off.
