I can't proved any scans, but Luke Cage is supposed to be the man with unbreakable skin... and The Thing has had pieces of his skin broken off. So to answer your question.. I have no idea.

I thought The Thing was supposed to be more durable?

Luke cage might have steel skin but his organs have no increased durability. The thing however does not suffer from this lack of durability on the inside of his body.

Who can take more physical force?
Thing,...If Luke Cages organs are just as vulnerable as yours and mine and Thing does not have that weaknesses.... it would be Thing.

What's the most impressive thing Luke Cage and The Thing have resisted?

Well, originally Luke was defined as having "steel hard skin", but lately he has been defined as having "unbreakable" skin, which technically is much different. Being "steel-hard" means that the Thing wins hands down, since the Thing's skin and body (inside & out) are both harder, stronger and more durable! It also means that Luke can still be damaged by anything sharp enough & strong enough that was delivered with enough force behind it. Being "unbreakable" might actually make him puncture-proof, although his bones might still be crushed by a sufficiently strong force. Either way, while Luke Cage's durability might approach the Thing's, he is definitely not in the same league as the Thing in raw power.
Internal organs wise, definitely the Thing. For skin, probably Cage. It depends on if Wolverine's claws can pierce Cage's skin or not. I've seen them pierce Thing's.
From what I recall, Luke's skin can be cut by adamantium weapons. Whenever I see Thing interact with something like that, tiny rocks just chip off his skin. So I say Thing is more durable.
