Some interesting info about characters and actors. I didn't know Cyke was killed in X3 because he was also in Superman. And props to Jackman for going so far as to not drink any water for a day and a half for his shirtless scenes!

Good God. Other than Spider-Man 2, Batman Begins, and Superman Returns, 2004-2007 was a really horrible trek for comic book movies. It's hard to think this hype train will ever die if it managed to get off the ground after those years.

Pretty cool. But, the geek in me wants to expand this to include all-screen and the cartoons and live action. I remember the Spider-Man cartoon and the Marvel Super Heroes cartoons. Didn't see the '60's FF cartoon, though. The small screen in the '70's was just as hit and miss as the films that came later...The Incredible Hulk was the lone success story; until Smallville, one of the longest running super-hero genre live action series...

BLADE was so great, because at that time you had to be a comic guy to really appreciate the film and who he was. but that opening scene in the club was simply awesome back then. A very underrated film in the success of Marvel films

Without Blade, there wouldn't be a Spider-Man or X-men franchise to start the explosion we now come to enjoy every summer

This is really good. I totally remember when Blade was THE franchise. It's also funny that 2005-07 were pretty super weak. I'm glad Iron Man and Incredible Hulk were there to save us all.

@mrfuzzynutz: Nope never read the comics and only knew about him from a episode of spiderman but he was so bad ass in it he left a impression on me. But blade and blade 2 I've easily watched a shit ton of times. Hell trinity wasn't so bad except for dracula plot kinda sucked.

Please, don't reboot Blade. Please! You want to insert Blade Film in to main MCU? Good, I wan't it, but don't reboot! Make Wesley Snipe appear and say "Hello, I'm Blade", and go away. It's easy! Don't Reboot! His film was AWESOME [oh well... the third not so much, but anyway...]

@comicace3: @bat_saint was a low budget production by a minor house, and was neither superheroic or really related to the comics :) is a sort of horror, with man-thing in his "pure form": a monster that slay who try to destroy the sacred swamp :)

There in Italy was never show in theater, and I've discovered it by chance some years ago late at night on TV :)

Anyway, in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Maria Hill was talking to the phone about a misterious "Man-Thing", so... this film was somewhat a canon for the MCU? Or was simply a reference to the Comics? [I think the later]
