    Marvel Adventures: Spider-Man #22

Marvel Adventures: Spider-Man » Marvel Adventures: Spider-Man #22 - World War G released by Marvel on February 2007.

    Short summary describing this issue.

No recent wiki edits to this page.

When the Green Goblin swears to destroy the Hobgoblin for stealing his shtick, only Spider-Man can save the city from World War "G"-- but with his new black costume, crooks and citizens alike don't know if he's a new hero, a new villain or the same old Spidey!

Spider-man is suffering from an identity crisis. Since he started wearing the Black Costume, that he stole from the Tinkerer in issue #21, nobody seems to recognize him. The Green Goblin returns to one of his hideouts and finds out that he has been burglarized. A second-story thief has robbed the Green Goblin's lair and becomes the Hobgoblin. This leads to a Goblin vs. Goblin grudge match that ends with Spider-man capturing both.

This is the 1st appearance of the Hobgoblin and Green Goblin in the Marvel Adventures universe.

This is the 2nd review of Marvel Adventures Spider-man that I am writting and I must say this issue is bettter than issue #21. Writer Fred VanLente Hits the Characters right on the money. Peter is Funny. Jonah is a blast he is such a smart ass and represents the character perfectly. Artist Cory Hamscher artwork seems to be very consistant and draws Spider-man very well I love how he draws spider-man in the Black Costume and the details and facial exspressions are awesome.  Plot Summary Ever sin...
