    While attempting to communicate with extraterrestrials via deep space communication, the Fantastic Four unknowingly gaining the attention of a powerful malevolent alien calling himself the Grand Master. Now each member of the Fantastic Four must battle in individual competition as the fate of the world hangs in the balance.

    The Fantastic Four are once again conducting an experiment for Reed. This time they are trying to contact friendly alien intelligences, but instead they contact En Dwi Gast, the Grandmaster. He wisks them away to other worlds to have them compete in his maniacal games.

    Johnny is left in a miniature solar system filled with combustible gas that if ignited will kill millions of people. There is an exit but to get to it he must avoid hostile gas ogres. Invisible Woman is place in an invisible maze filled with invisible monsters. The Thing is placed in a gelatinous sphere that collapse in on itself along with the room. Reed is confronted by the intellect of Intellitek, a computer of incalculable intelligence.

    Each of the Fantastic Four is able to defeat their individual challenge. Frustrated the Grandmaster tries to make the FF fight each other, but because they are a family they are too strong willed and defeat him. He promises to leave Earth alone.
