For some reason i really love Martian Manhunter.

i love his personality, his look (especially the new 52 version look) and His power set. I think written well He should be able to defeat superman. (He is really the swiss army knife of heroes, with advance shapeshifting abilities, high level telepathy, immense strength, intangibility and flight).

I love his intelligence and how his powers should theoretically allow him to take down anyone. I also like how awesome his name is

..his powers, versatility, wisdom and calmness (less of that in the New 52) , he's a bit mysterious and if DC let him off the leash he could defeat Superman or any member of the JL.

He is green.

His powers mixed with his mysteriousness makes him unpredictable and threatening (even to his own allies).
