After reading Old Man Logan and Kick- Ass, then Red Son and currently Nemesis, i have come to the conclusion that he could be one of my favorite writers. But... what would you say is his best piece of work?
What would you recommend picking up other then the titles mentioned above?

Personally it's Superman: Red Son and he has done a lot of great work on The Authority.

@aztek the lost: Alan Moore's Swamp Thing was the only version I read. I guess I'm a bit worried that if I read another writers work on him that it may end up like Animal Man.

@aztek the lost:  I love Animal Man as character and I've enjoyed his writing from different writers. It's just that I read Morrison's run before the others and the later books didn't live up to it, not saying that they were bad though, just not up to par.

Probably. I'd recommend reading The Authority anyway though. You only need to read Ellis's run to get a feel for Jenny Sparks, but Millar's run was good too. In fact, I loved The Authority until DnA's run, and now I am excited about the book again.

For me I'd say his beast work would be Ultimates 1 and 2 (Plus those were two of the first comic trades I read when I started reading comics, so yeah :P) along with Old Man Logan.

Millar's a great writer. I liked his Ultimates run, Ultimate X-Men, Old Man Logan, Civil War, and Kick-Ass. I wanna read Red Son soooo bad.

    Wow, two years ago.

Anyways, Ultimates and Red Son are his best (IMO). Civil War, then Old Man Logan, then Ultimate X-Men, then Kick-Ass.

I wasn't to much of a fan of Kick-Ass....and actually most of his stuff outside of his main Marvel books either....to much vulgarity and gore just for the sake of it....I'm not one of those people that thinks that books have to be filled with swear words, nudity, and blood shed to be considered "mature"

The Ultimates Ultimate Collection 1 and 2 were what got me into graphic novels so i will always have a soft spot for Miller's work.

Red Son,one of his few original works. Most of what he does is just a blatant ripoff of some other successful work,I read Nemesis and it's similarities with The Dark Knight were astounding, what's so great about Nemesis on his own? the best aspects of this character just happen to be the best aspects of Batman and the Joker. The character himself has no unique trait of his own,and the only shred of originality in that series was...well not worth mentioning.

Then there's Civil War which started the event fest that's prevalent in both Marvel DC.
