How do you all think he did?

I liked him a lot but there was nothing about him that stood out.

He was very solid if you ask me. He didn't get to that many lines but he managed to say a lot with his expressions alone, like the scene at the bar for example. He really shined in all the emotional scenes like Jonathan Kent's death or Zod's death.

Overall I was throughly impressed with his performance. Plus, he looks a lot like Pre-52 Superman.

I think people can/should put the Christopher Reeves argument to rest now. It's a new era and Henry Cavill is officially the perfect Superman.

In my opinion:)

I thought he was amazing and look forward to seeing him as superman again. He had a lot of emotional weight and represented superman brilliantly for our era. A truly amazing superman.

Could be my mind playing tricks but he looked a bit like Tom Welling in the J.K. Death sequence and again in the last scene as Clark Kent with glasses!
