Lois Lane is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist for the Daily Planet of Metropolis. She was the first reporter to interview Superman after he first appeared in Metropolis. Superman later revealed his secret identity to her; the two married and have a son, Jon Kent.
Martha Kent and her husband Jonathan Kent are the adoptive parents of Clark Kent (aka Kal-El / Superman). She also helps raise and provide guidance to other members of the superfamily, including Superboy and Supergirl.

Tor-An was a Kryptonian Phantom Zone criminal. He escaped the Phantom Zone, taking part in a conspiracy of sleeper agents for General Zod. He was killed by Ursa for getting discovered and captured.
Whitney Fordman was Lana Langs first boyfriend and left Smallville to join the United States Marines. He belongs to the continuity of the Smallville TV series, and had a brief cameo in Zack Snyder's Man of Steel film.
