    Loa is a mutant with the ability to dissolve the molecular bonds of anything she touches. She also gained the ability to breathe underwater from an Atlantean Amulet that her grandmother obtained from her friend who was Namor's old girlfriend.

    According to the latest Namor issue, Loa now has energy blast powers? I don't approve.

    She's got enery blasts? I can accept the water-breathing thing but are they pulling stuff out their ass or what?

    Could someone give some details about this please, for those of us who don't read Namor: The First Mutant.  What was stated?  Has she actually demonstrated this power?

    Basically she appears to just send of blasts of red energy. She was using it on swarms of evil bugs or something when her and namor were in hell. Too bad there aren't any pics of it on this site. I'll search around for some. I hope this book doesn't ruin Loa cause she's basically the reason I'm reading it lol.

    with that being said along with her new powers. you think she'll be able to channel her distortion powers through those red energy blasts? i think that'd be a nice touch, dont you think? because personally, she shouldn't have another set of powers, hers alone are devastating enough.

    This is some bullsh*t!!! I could stand the "related" relationship Namor and Loa have, her breathing underwater is pushing it, but now these, "energy blast"..... total bull!! Why ruin such a good character!! Marvel has really outdone itself now!! Loa is the first good character to be ruined in 9 issues!!!

    This is starting out rediculous, the writer just making anything up because he dosn't know how to deal with loa. When she finally gets appearance big time, they screw it up.

    TECHNICALLY her molecular disruption power can possibly allow her to distort air molecules and create some sort of blast 
    But I thought her original power was good and cool enough

    Maybe the last is the stored energy "stole energy" from the items she's pasted through in the past?
