Vladimir Krsti, known as Laci, started in the creative field by working as a theater decorator and then as a graphic designer and illustrator for publishing companies. He also served as the art director of the magazine Gradina. He began his work in comics by contributing illustrations to Il Grande Blek, and he published his own comic strips "Billy Wanderer" and "Ninja Against the Yakuza." He was then inactive in comics for nearly 20 years.
He returned to comics in 2006, drawing for various French publishers, and then illustrated Le Céleste Noir, written by Sylvain Cordurié. He went on to collaborate with Cordurié on several Sherlock Holmes titles for Soleil, such as Sherlock Holmes & Les Vampires de Londres. Some of his more recent work includes Adam Wild #3-4 and Ghosted #17-20.
