There are many that love spoilers. I'm not a big fan of them myself but there are times when they can be hard to resist. Once again our mysterious benefactor sent an image from today's ACTION COMICS #13. I'm hesitant to post but this may not be a huge spoiler.

In ACTION COMICS, we've seen Krypto a few times. Actually, he's appeared in issues 3 and 5 and issue 3 mentioned of a "ghost dog" watching over Clark. Issue 5 showed Krypto's attempt to save Superman and his parents by jumping into the Phantom Zone. The solicit of issue 13 mentions the return of Krypto. But will it be a return that will make readers happy?

It appears that Krypto will be emerging somehow from the Phantom Zone. Unfortunately he doesn't look too good. Would Grant Morrison and DC label this as "the return of Krypto" only for us to see him perish? They did decide to kill of Ma and Pa Kent after all. Superman is supposed to feel alone and isolated, which lead to the kiss with Wonder Woman in JUSTICE LEAGUE #12.

You can bet I'll be reading this issue as soon as I get back from the comic shop today. Will Krypto survive? Is there a place for a Superdog in the New 52?

He looks like a cross between the old Krypto and the new Krypto we saw previously. It might just be a bad shot and he still looks like the new version.

Now that would be just cruel. Hopefully GM wouldn't do that...

No way DC could get away with killing a loyal pet. Whether it's Krypto, or Bat-Hound, or Streaky, the point is there are animal lovers out there in the comic world who could get very nasty if provoked. I'm one of them, so I know what I'm talking about.

NOOOO! DONT DIE KRYPTO :,( If you want to kill off someone DC kill off another hero or villain (as were kinda used to that by now) but don't Kill off the Dog! (or small children... yeh we still remember that). Live Krypto! LIVE!

@sora_thekey: Since he first appeared in flashbacks to Krypton before its' destruction in the New 52, yes. In the original timeline, he wasn't ever that big. Now he's like a wolf almost! XD

I already read this issue. I cried so much. Such a touching story.

Krypto is freaking huge. Actually, that's pretty damn awesome. I always loved clifford.

I really hope he doesn't die. Superman needs something to keep his titles from being a dreary affair

Krypto looks like he is the size of a deer or something. He looks bigger then your average large dog thats for sure. I hope he is actually. I think it would be cool for him to look like an over sized wolf (now that i think about it, something similar to "wolf" from the young Justice cartoons)

I fear for the fate of the person who brought this pain down on Krypto. There are two things a man holds dearest to his heart, the love of his live and his dog.

Who's is the new artist for this series? I'm liking the art on Superman.

Technically they already have a "Bat hound" in Batman only his name is Titus. He's basically Ace in spirit.

So if Krypto came back seriously injured from the Phantom Zone, does this mean my theory that Michael Vick has taken up residence there might be solid?

I hope Sholly Fisch continue to do back ups for AC. He is a great writer.

Batman and Robin. Bruce gives Damian a pet dog who Damian named Titus. He may not be the crime fighting dog but as I said he's the Wayne family dog so technically Ace in spirit.
