A famous big game hunter, who became a mercenary and later, developed an intense obsession with restoring honor to his name. Kraven has been known as a major threat for Spider-Man and leaving a legacy during his demise.
J.M. DeMatteis's twisted and abstract story put an end to Kraven's tale... but Joe Kelly's dark and entertaining story brought the hunter back. Both are excellent in their own ways and drastically different, but which story do you prefer and why?
@k4tzm4n: The whole story was a great moment for me but maybe the best was when Kaine went to Peter's apartment and told him what's happening. It was just really creepy and the way Kaine was was just mind blowing.
I don't like The The Gauntlet and Grim Hunt due to the poor treatment of the Spider-Women(Julia,Mattie, and Webb) for the sake of pushing Anya as Spider-Girl, Lizard eating his son was just mean-spirited, and I feel that Kraven should have stayed dead. Kraven had a great end(which was his only good story) and they barely used him afterward despite all that preparation and build-up.
