    Hello again. He's the very definition of an anti-hero, his life is in a way a "tragedy", he's what Peter Parker would probably become, if he hadn't Uncle Ben to guide him (so it's a what if - canon story, lol), yet he remains funny! His trip from a villain to a hero (never really made it there unfortunately) was so interesting and so well written by C. Yost, that if you like spider stories, you have to love him. It's a great comic book, you should give it a try.

    Kaine wants to be edgy and grim but Houston won't let him.

    It's a work of beauty.

    Because He doesn't want to be a Hero but His new found conscious makes Him feel obligated to be a Hero. He's also tHe most Hilarious Anti-Hero wHo isn't over tHe top wHacky.

    Plus He reminds me of me in a lot of ways as all my favorite fictional cHaracters do.

    The character development. He is someone who you can see honestly wants to be a better person and shows clear regret over his past. This gives me good reason to sympathize with him and want to see him become a hero. I can't wait to see what he does in New Warriors.

    @theacidskull: Yost's words:

    Yost: I think Kaine is a dark mirror for Peter. He's what Peter could have become without the family and friends, without the life lessons that Uncle Ben and Aunt May taught him, without the love.

    It's bad. Those things matter. Kaine did horrible things. He killed people. Tortured others. But even with the lack of Peter's life, there was still something within Kaine that pushed him to at least try and be a hero. Call it DNA, genetic memory, who knows… but there's something more of Peter Parker inside Kaine than just his cells. Clones need love too!

    It's just when you read this phrase describing Kaine,

    "All of the Power, None of the Responsibility"

    you understand what's the missing element of the Spider-man equation. Who said the phrase? Uncle Ben, who is the manifestation of the missing love and guidance Kaine never had. That's how I see it.

    @mrgreenlantern: Not only that! Marvel destroyed every chance of success for these anti-heroes, since their main spider title was about an anti-hero, that we didn't need at the first place! Thank you, marvel!!!! Second sarcasm, haha
