With Stegman leaving the pencils an all it got me thinking as to who i'd like to take over. So god forbid Yost was forced to leave Scarlet Spider and a new penciler was brought in who would you pick and why?

Personally i'd love to see either Mark Bagley or Greg Capullo on pencils. Bagley has great experience drawing Spider-man and Capullo's gritty art would go brilliantly with Scarlet Spider. As for the writer though i've no idea at all.

Remender stop writing for venom at #22, Cullen Bunn is the current writer.

He also writes Uncanny X-Force and Secret Avengers as of issue 21.1, but I like what he's done with Venom and I really think he could rock Kaine

I would love to see Dan slott write scarlet spider

@Aeroman: Don't get me wrong, fellow-viner, but Good God NOOO!

I don't want Yost to go, but if he had to, I could see Remender. I could even see Straczynski, since Yost used the "Other" concept. He could in a way continue what he left behind, when he stopped writing Pete.

McNiven is a stellar artist and yet he doesn't seem to get a lot of recognition. Any idea what he's pencilling at the moment?

Hey, guys. What about Slott? Pete finds a way to come back and Otto is out, but, since he (Otto) is a genius, he has a back-up plan. He steals Kaine's body! And then he takes a vow! And then he becomes the Superior Scarlet Spider! What say you, good folks of comic vine?
