If the current Spider-Man film (series) spawns a Scarlet Spider spin-off, whom do you think should be the Scarlet Spider in it? Kaine or Ben?

Ben but there's no chance of that happening....Garfield would have to be in two movie series at the same time....I don't think clones will work for the movies

Ben would have to be in it to remain canon.

But Kaine would be awesome to see on screen. They'd have to distance it from the reboot though because I doubt Garfield could pull of Kaine. Kaine and Pete don't even look a whole lot alike in the comics so if they brought in another actor for it I wouldn't complain. Won't happen though T.T!

The real question is who could play Kaine lol.

Don't know to be honest. Bradly Cooper is almost a deadringer for how he looks but I don't think he's a good enough actor to pull Kaine's bada$$ attitude:

I love them both, Ben and Kaine, but I think Kaine's story would be much more interesting due to his dark nature/persona.

I personally think they would use Kaine for Spiderman Episode II: Attack of the Clones.

A Scarlet Spider movie would be really cool. Maybe start with an animated series first to give the character a little bit more exposure. I'm afraid that quite a few movie-goers will be confused by it being a(nother) Spider-Man movie and end up being disappointed.

I say marvel just starts teasing a new "spider" movie just have it turn out to be Kaine =P
