Hello, I am typing this New Topic hoping I get some replies below. So, I have been picking up the new Scarlet Spider Comics and I have ben enjoying them but am recently starting to question whether or not I should continue with the series. What are your opinions on the character? By biggest issue are the previous Story lines, I did not like the issues 8, and 9. Minimum carnage is okay so far, then again I still need to get two of them, I didn't like the whole "Going to the multi Verse" thing. But it did lead to those great battles with Flash and Carnage. Still unsure, what do you all think?

Honestly I debated dropping it when it got disjointed. For example after Annabelle found out Kaine was the Scarlet Spider we never got her reaction to talking to him about it or what her thoughts on this were. It then skipped straight to a self-contained issue about a bomb which to me seemed a bit silly. I mean if you're going to make a self-contained issue about something make it about a problem at hand. I'd have much rather had issue 5 be about what happened after the discovery in issue 4. Besides this little complaint I have no other problems with the series.

The latest issue was awesome for so many reasons comedy, the art was amazing, self-contained story and we learn a bit more about Kaine. I'm not going to drop this book if the story telling continues down this line (which I believe it will for a while).

Keep buying it, it is awsome! issue 12 was just amazing!

I really love the character and issue 12 was a return to form, keeping it on my pull list. Didn't like minimum carnage but that can be forgiven because it was a crossover.

I think the point is Kaine doesn't see himself as a superhero. He unmask himself before a lot of people... so a friend learning his identity isn't a problem for him.

I love the serie... but I hope it stay away from crossover. Kaineneeds a bit of developpement.

Honestly Kaine personnality just make me laugh... I mean... he is practically a wity Batman... or a young Bruce Willis with superpowers

Anyone have any idea why the release date for Scarlet Spider 15 was pushed back until the 26th of March?

@Strider92: I have no idea, but I read it's pushed back until the 27th not the 26th! Terrible news...

I absolutelly loved the ish. And when he kissed Annabelle ,seriously....i said "YAY" out loud.

And that moment with the horse.....was totally genious and hilarious...

@punyparker: Yeah it was a good issue. Some of the art was pretty bad but the plot made up for it!

@strider92: This Pham guy is awful.....the one that drew the "fake Santas" issue was good,and o'course,Stegman.

@punyparker: Yeah. I'd heard Reilly Brown (the guy who drew the Santa issue) was meant to be drawing issue 16. He is officially part of the creative team along with Pham and Yost. Hopefully he'll appear again soon. Carlos Barberi's pencils for the next issue will be awesome though :)

@punyparker: Of course not he's had his heart blow up before. He'll heal and be pissed and him and Kaine will probably go another round.

I'm starting to get the feeling Kaine is getting a rep as a team-buster. He handled the Assassins, The Rangers and did quite well vs the X-men. In fact its not often he's even in a 1v1 situation.

Looks preety much alive to me...!

@punyparker: These boys will have some fun playing with the Assassin's Guild. Poor assassins will never "know" what hit them. Wolverine and Kaine together? I can almost feel pity for them (assassins).
