Yeah that was known before...organic webs, talks to spider's stingers, Plus Kaine was always physically stronger than spider-man....but he lost his spider sense to get the "other" powers. Or the writers thought that would be a fair trade off I guess. I remember reading an issue of ff where peter lost his spider sense and his web lines hit weak points and he fell more often. I wouldn't dare try web slinging without spider sense. And when Kaine moved to texas he made a rookie mistake and ran out of buildings...something spider sense probably would have told him.
