in forever evil the crime syndicate says that something powerful came to their world that they could not defeat and that is why they have come to this earth.

i've heard many people say darkseid but i dont think darkseid is that power. i mean hes a major threat but not enough to make the crime syndicate run.

i was thinking imperiex since hes basically dcs galactus and the new 52 is all about reusing old ideas as new.

I think it was Darkseid still looking for his daughter. If not, then maybe it is Anti-Monitor.

Anti-monitor destroyed Earth 3 at the beginning of Crisis on Infinite Earths, I'm thinking it might be something like that.

@laserlambert: i like completely forgot about anti monitor. i kinda forgot he was a main dcu threat since he was part of the sinestro corps but i could see him destroying earth 3.

Even though I'm not reading Forever evil I think its Darkseid because the crisis never happend in the new 52

The theory says that Darkseid attaked the earths at the same time Earth 1 had enough superheroes to protect it Eart 2 Lived but lost Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman and Many cities and Earth 3 was destroyed almost completley

My thinking too. Not to mention, he was destroying every Earth he encountered and killing every Superman (until Earth2 who he apparently brainwashed). So what would he think of Ultraman? Thats the question. Maybe he didnt kill him because he saw another use (drive him to Earth1, the only Earth to stop him), or killing him was pointless to Darkseid. And there was obviously no real value to "brainwash" the already evil, not-inspirational alternate Earth-2 Superman. Anyway, he destroyed the planet and moved on, probably to Earth2.

Ew, so they destroyed the Earth in Earth-3? That sucks. I'd rather Darkseid had gone to another Earth, were the JL was good, destroy their earth & so they come to main earth to "protect" it in a much more brutal tyranical way, like the Justice Lords wanted to do.

Earth-3 is far more interesting as a intact place, were the heroes are bad, & the baddies are the good guys.

Darkseid' villian month issue says he traveled from Earth to Earth across the multiverse capturing and killing all supermen bcuz he's envious of their raw power. He got to Earth-3 and invaded it with para-demons. Crime Syndacite was able to fight them off just like Earth Prime's justice league, but at a cost, they're planet was destroyed (unlike earth prime). He then moves on to Earth Two and finds the superman who he was able to brainwash and control. If you read the first couple issues of Batman/Superman, it's stated that Earth Prime Superman was the only Superman strong enough to survive what Darkseid did to all the others, and Earth-2 was doomed. So there you go, Darkseid is going from Earth to Earth destroying all the Supermen and once he got to Earth-2 he found what he was looking for. Only Earth Prime and Earth 3 we're able fight them off, but Crime Syndacate was unable to do what the Justice League did (save their planet)

Darkseid and his parademons. They destroyed E3 because the Syndicate didn't work together as a team to stop him.

since we are one issue left away my guesses would be imperiex, anti monitor, or maybe superboy prime, or earth 3's black adam since alexander luthor is their shazam and black adam is shazams enemy and mazahs is supposed to be the strongest hero in earth 3 ...
