If by other guy you mean Ryan Choi, I believe it's him. Ray Palmer came up with the white dwarf shrinking gig as it was mentioned in Action Comics...7 I believe. But Ryan Choi's the one in the Atom costume.

Who the hell is Vibe. I hope this doesn't mean the Martian Manhunter is not going to be in Stormwatch anymore. Stormwatch is one of my favorite titles right now. Do we also need another Green Lantern? Isn't four of them enough? What ever. This looks interesting. It makes more sense with the trinity war thing happening soon. They don't have half the power of the Justice League tho.
Also, Johns better be positioning J'onn as someone of Superman caliber. Any Justice League book is more mainstream than Stormwatch will ever be, so very few people know that the Manhunter can kick some serious ass.

A master thief seems pretty useful to me. I like this team is really well rounded, hopefully they do a lot of covert stuff.
Were not surprised because we think that Catwoman doesn't have skill set that could be useful to the JLA. Were surprised because Catwoman isn't the JLA type, she's never been interested in being the good guy or proving that she's "as A-list as anybody " to quote Johns. She'll occasionally save someone in danger, she'll occasionally go out of her way to help someone she identifies with. So it's debate whether she's a hero or what but she's just not someone who would ever be interested in joining a big flashy superteam where everyone knows her name it's her job to save people and nothing else instead of end up helping someone in trouble while she's robbing them blind. I could see her a s a forced contact where Steve Trevor breaks into her house puts a gun to her head and makes her give up info and then leaves telling her that she could do more. But her just joining this or even taking the she could do more advice is waaaaaay out of character for her
I'm sure they'll have some sort of explanation for her joining.
With news of this development, Trinity War is beginning to take shape. It'll be the Justice League vs. the Justice League of America over whether or not Superman should be dating Wonder Woman. JL thinks that it totally makes sense and that it's about time while the JLA thinks the idea is insulting and that Wonder Woman is definitely better off with Batman. That's what leads to the surprising plot twist of Catwoman betraying her team because of her feelings for good 'ole Bruce and not wanting the JLA to hook him up with Diana.
Oh Geoff Johns... you're really setting up a doozy with this one...

As others have mentioned, it really bugs me to see Selina on the team. It has never been in her character to work on a superhero team. It is a stretch, but maybe I can see the pre-Flashpoint Selina joining a team. She had mostly transitioned to being a full-time hero, but this new Catwoman is mostly in it for herself.

But, leaving the New DC for a while, going back to their pre-Flashpoint matrial (I was reading Ed Brubaker's Catwoman and Geoff John's JLA, of all things) and then returning to see what they're doing with the current JLA only makes my eyes bleed and my brain cry for mercy at how DC consistently makes terrible creative decision after terrible creative decision...

Wow. Here's an idea. How about we don't needlessly bash a book that hasn't even come out yet? Just a thought. If it sucks, it sucks, but to be honest people moaning about everything this book has to offer when we don't even know what it has to offer is simply pointless.
