    Justice League Dark #15

    THE GOOD:
Mikel Janin is back as the artist and the book looks fantastic. The way he draws the new character Vikar makes the character look awesome and hypes up the story for future pages. One of the main reasons why Janin is great on the art is because the emotion that all the characters show. It makes this larger then life characters feel a little human. The backgrounds are detailed but not overly so that it takes away from the characters. The story is also fantastic and really gives the reader a look into all these characters. Jeff Lemire makes up for Zatanna getting captured by making her a powerhouse tearing into the new villain. The best part of this issue is towards the end where all the characters are drastically change. This was interesting, especially in the case of Constantine. It really made him a little more human with feelings and makes the character so much more complex. Deadman also has something happen that really makes the character so happy, and then the ball drops making everything so tragic. This issue also has great dialog that really makes you believe that all these characters are real.

    THE BAD:
Timothy Hunter feels kinda whinny and kinda contradicts himself in a part of the issue. (This isn't bad because it gives him little more character, but it didn't work for me)

    THE VERDICT: 5/5 (Perfect)
This is one of the best team books that I have ever read. The characters are so different but the writer makes them work. The art work is also fantastic and elevates the book greatly. If you like any of the characters or just magic, I believe that there is something that you will like in this book. If you just want a team book with new character to get hooked on, this is also perfect for you. I highly recommend this. You will enjoy reading this and want to read the next and the next. A great issue in a great series.

After all the nice things said about this series, as well as the release of the new Constantine series I finally decided to try this series, and I'm very glad that I did, as the Books of Magic storyline was phenomenal, and this series as a whole as been one of the most unique series I've read from the New 52, and I look forward to seeing what comes next.PlotJohn Constantine, and the rest of the Justice League Dark continue to work with A.R.G.U.S. expert Johnny Peril on finding a way to find Zata...

I really do love Trevor McCarthy's cover work. He's been doing a stellar job on the Birds of Prey covers lately, and this one here is just as excellent. It's no Ryan Sook, but it has such a unique contrast to the Ryan Sook covers, with thin distinct lines, sharp contrast, and almost neon colors; it's a brilliant way to highlight the completely different world this next arc takes place in.Jeff Lemire's really been making this team shine, perfectly balancing all the members, and constantly bringin...
