"cool, where did you read that? The sheer fact is that Stan Lee created the Juggernaut for very specific reasons; he wanted a character that could not be defeated by force, he wanted a character that required teamwork and/or intelligence to defeat. But at the same time, heroes tend to hold back, so Stan Lee wanted to create someone that would allow a character to really let loose and show off how much power they really have without fear of killing him.
That is the heart and soul of the "Juggernaut" character, and people have to remember that each time they think about the Juggernaut. And honestly I typically dislike characters as powerful as Hulk, Superman, etc, and I used to dislike Juggernaut too... until I read what I just told you guys. It gave me an appreciation for the character and made me realize that he has to be that powerful, it was the sole reason why he was created.

Juggernaut
Character » Juggernaut appears in 2013 issues.
Cain Marko, also known as the Juggernaut, is the step-brother of X-Men founder Charles Xavier and the avatar of Cyttorak. Powered by the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak, Marko is bestowed virtually limitless brute strength and durability which he mostly uses for criminal pursuits and wanton destruction. The Juggernaut is considered one of the strongest and most powerful beings on Earth.
What people don't realize about Juggernaut
"because he tricked the Professor Hulk,he was tring to avoid the fight, when he realized who it was it was too late since Juggs ALREADY has catched his neck.TOMBSTONE999 says:
"In 403 Juggy without his armor beat hulk down. Why do people choose to forget that?"because hulk fanboys are mostly idiots.
"
besides 1 or 2 issues later Hulk beats Juggs in 2-3 punchs, why most peploe forget that?
"the Juggernaut IS potentialy the stronger because Cytorak can GIVE him more power,it is not like he can just get stronger at he free wiil,it all depends on Citorak.Alpha says:
"the human Juggernaut says:"Alpha says:"!Drake! says:no, the hulk would eventually get tired and stop. Juggernaut has infinite stamina and would just keep going as if he just started.""I dont think niether Hulk or Jugs could beat each other they will always stand toe to toe. Here are non cosmic who can take out jugs Superman or Cable at full power "I don't know about the Superman or Cable idea, but I do agree that the Hulk and Juggernaut can't win against each other. Even though the Hulk would become stronger, I don' think he could become strong enough that he coud prevail over the enchantment that's over the Juggernaut. And the Hulk's strength and healing would become so great that the Juggernaut's blows wouldn't matter. "Thats not true. Hulk has potential unlimited strength (based on his rage). He heals almost instant. How would he get tired? That could only happen if he ran out of energy, like he did with the Sentry. And Juggernaut doesn't have the power to make the Hulk drain his fighting him. "
and once again alpha, you are pwned by marvel.
"
anyway, why am i even posting?you (or another guy)will probaly just come, say i suck or that i am an idiot at all
and just because marvel thinks dont mean it is complete true.
Bendis for example,he wanna see Thor losing to Ares, wich we know never would happen
"the human Juggernaut said:cytorrak hasn't changed, and juggernaut has the same power he had then. What's your point?"Hulk #419 is fourteen years old."

"Acheron said:You seem to post that for support that Marvel thinks that Juggs is stronger than Hulk. I'm not debating that point."the human Juggernaut said:cytorrak hasn't changed, and juggernaut has the same power he had then. What's your point?""Hulk #419 is fourteen years old."
I'm saying that their "current" opinion isn't current anymore, and that scan is practically moot.
"the human Juggernaut said:how is it moot? Juggernaut is the same as he was then, and so is cyttorak."Acheron said:You seem to post that for support that Marvel thinks that Juggs is stronger than Hulk. "how is it moot? Juggernaut is the same as he was then, and so is cyttorak. "It's moot because Marvel's opinions close to fourteen years ago aren't current. The writers could have easily changed their minds about the two characters. Just because Juggs is the same doesn't mean that opinions regarding him are the same.

If Hulk could not overpower The Juggernaut in an event called World War Hulk. Then I think Marvel opinion is still on Juggs side. So the scan is not moot. It merely reinforces what we have been shown recently.
"ironboy said:Because I can post where ever I want..THAT'S WHY.F#ck Juggernaut."Hulk is stronger than juggernaut."Why the repetition? Bring a better valued comment if you want people to care.
Why is Vance even here? Should haters even be allowed?"

It's good to know some things never change. Vance is still a beacon of quiet dignity and grace.
The world war hulk scans show one thing classic level juggernaut = stronger than world war hulk as he started pushing him back then he got all distracted & got bfr which is stupid cause Juggernaut should've just stopped instantly as he should be able to stop himself in motion or else he'd keep walking/running with no control lol but it was a plot device so world war hulk wasn't stopped then & there by good ol' juggernaut .
Yeah...I think that WWH showed that the hulk, even at such high levels of strength, had to use his wits to beat Juggernaut as he was being outmatched physically. Everyone has an opinion...but mine is that Juggernauts mystic power makes him stronger than the Hulk physically. Now world breaker Hulk is a different story...as he is theoretically immensely stronger than WWH Hulk...however...given the context of the events that led to him being that angry and subsequently that powerful...it's safe to say that he will never be that powerful again...ever.
Juggernaut is NOT as strong as Hulk. Just more durable and invulnerable.
I find the Juggernaut as a very useful storytelling device. In regards to his power level, he is a villain against whom any hero can credibly lose. On the other hand, Cain Marko has a street-level mentality. He does not seek world domination or mass destruction. When you put these two together, Juggernaut is your go-to guy when you want to write a story about a hero failing and dealing with the failure. A story about that is often more interesting than yet another unmitigated victory.

Yes and this seems to be the setup for I.H. #602. http://www.comicvine.com/news/exclusive-preview-incredible-hulk-602/139397/
Instead what we got is Cain standing around for most of the issue and Skaar eventually finding a way to BFR him. Great lesson learned there.
