i see a lot of people on forums saying they hate judd winick and they wont read a comic because he is writing it. Titans aside i love almost all his comics. What do you guys think of him

Winnick can be one of the best and one of the worst writers

His ideas to bring something new to a character usually is crap

Turning Nightwing in someone with a batman attitude with jason todd's anger and giving the world's greatest archer (green arrow) a katana are just some of them.

his creations Indigo and Shift are great though

I like him with Green Arrow and Outsiders.

Other then that i dont usally pay attention to writers just read the damn book lol

When Winick writes well, he writes AWESOME. Read his run on Exiles, Green Lantern, Pedro & Me and Barry Ween, Boy Genius.
When Winick writes bad, he writes horrible. Read his run on Batman and The Trials of Shazam.

No, I don't like him.  He won't stick to his strengths (creating characters) and he won't fix his weaknesses (writing preestablished characters and making them seem nothing like they were before he got ahold of them).

He gave us Constantine Drakon so he's cool with me. I also love how he made Green Arrow a formidable H2H combatant.

I like his stuff on Exiles and the Green Lantern stuff was good too. I'm undecided on the Titans stuff, so I suppose I'm neutral.
