    The Mind of Jervis Tetch

The Mad Hatter is one of Gotham's luniest criminals possibly next to the Clown Prince of Crime. This tale of the disturbed englishman shows how strange the Hatter is. It shows the obsessive side of his personality having struggle with something like abstaining from tea and wearing hats and it shows the scizophrenic side through the way the book is drawn the Hatter sees everything as some kind of colourful wonderland. The book begins with the Joker narrating as he does in all Joker Asylum books. The Mad Hatter is writing a book about his life and his search for an "Alice" and he spots a blonde girl that he wants to be his "Alice" ; he tries abstaining from tea and wearing hats because it seemingly drives himself insane. He finds out that the girls name is not Alice. He flies off the handle and changes the story around and it ends with murder. Batman stops him. I really liked this book it showed a the insane personality of the character very well. It lacked excitment but that isn't what the Joker books are about they are made to express the insanity of some of Batman's most dangerous criminals.

Basically the story is involved with Jarvis trying, and I do mean trying to reform himself and stay away from anything that would bring him back to his criminal career. But its hard for him when he encounters a lady who resembles the Alice character in the "Alice in Wonderland" st...

In every set of Joker's Asylum, there are some good stories, and some mediocre ones. This happens to fall into the mediocre category. The main reason? Probably the art. Oh, and the fact that it follows the exact same storyline as half the other Joker's Asylums. Super-villain meets girl. Super-villain falls in love with girl. Super-villain wins girl's heart/captures girl. Something goes wrong. Super-villain goes back to being typically super-villain-y. Yep, that about sums it up.  The Good  The t...
