According to the history to the present of comics, there have been three versions of the Joker. Here they are:

    1. The Prankster:

    No Caption Provided

This version of the Joker is not really dangerous and will rather just rob banks in a prankster kind of way. He just has crazy fun while commiting crimes and is always out-pranked by Batman.

    2. The Criminal Mastermind:

    No Caption Provided

This Joker is the Clown Prince of Crime. He is unpredictable and extremely dangerous. He is intelligent and most definitely a murderer. He would rarely often rely henchmen, assassins, and goons to do his bidding but is more popular for working with (Or at least using) Harley Quinn. He hates Batman a lot and would do anything to make his life a living hell. He killed Jason Todd and paralyzed Barbara Gordon.

    3. The Psychopath:

    No Caption Provided

This Joker is independent and works alone. He is exactly what his title is, a psychopath. He is also a little unpredictable and extremely dangerous. He kills just for the sake of his insanity. He is ruthless and a monster. This Joker, however, believes he and Batman are destined to fight forever and ever until he proves that he is not the only one as insane as himself as he believes he can make Batman be just like him, like trying to make Batman kill him all the time.

Which version of the Joker above do you prefer? I prefer the criminal mastermind.
