Don't get the wrong idea, I like the Joker and all but I have problems with the Joker.

    It seems that Joker

    1. Kills millions of people
    2. Rapes women
    3. Ruin people life
    4. Pschologically torture just about everyone including the Batfamily

and he gets away with it every single time. I know why Batman can't kill him, but I want to know why others couldn't? And please don't give me no excuse that he will win, or he proved his point that all of this is a joke. Here's the thing, I don't care if he wins or prove points to Batman. This isn't about any of that, it's about saving lives and stopping him permanently.

The cops could of had every opportunity to stop him at gunpoint.

    • Cops are here to protect and serve.
    • Cops have every right to use excessive force.
    • Saving victims from criminals any means necessary, that includes stopping criminals by taking their lives.

Okay imagine if Joker was trying kill you, and you kill him not out of hatred, but out of self defense. Would you do it?

I'm sorry, I just get so heated sometimes. I just don't understand the logic behind all this. Maybe you can explain this better than I can.

Remember, these are my opinions and my point of view.

    So here's my question.

How do you "kill" the Joker without literally killing him?

What I meant was, How would you stop him permanently without killing him. Just like in Miller's TDKR. where Batman snaps Joker's neck, paralyzing him from neck down.

paralysis from the neck down like you said. or a lobotomy. make him a vegetable he'd still be alive technically.

but I feel like you have a misunderstanding of "excessive force"

Yeah, I've wondered that myself, why hasn't Batman just pulled a Bane on Joker or something? If he doesn't want to kill him you'd think that would be the first thing he'd resort to after the absurd amount of damage he's done to the Bat-Family and much of Gotham.

Well, you have to think realistically. It is a comic and they want to reuse the character seeing as it is Batmans arch nemesis, so they will come up with a multitude of reasons to pacify why nobody kills or cripples him.

a cop firing the kill shot at an armed gunman, in spite of using lethal force is not excessive in those circumstances. there even though it's lethal force it could be seen as necessary force.

once they've already arrested you and cuffed you, and they break your arm that's "excessive force"

So No. cops have absolutely no right whatsoever to use excessive force. in any case.

however the joker would be one of those cases where the swat team snipes hims while he's holding a bomb detonator or something like that. that would be lethal but necessary force.

I'm surprised no cops have even attempted putting a bullet through Jokers skull. Heck, knowing how corrupt Gotham is they shouldn't even have to worry about losing their jobs by ending the clowns life.

I know that's worst part of this. He always gets away with it. ALWAYS.

Every time he does this, I wanted to say

    My bad

No worries. It's an old story. It's like not knowing the ending to The Sixth Sense.
