Im looking for some comics where Joker is the main focus or main character. I already read the one in 2008 by Brian Azzarrelo and I dont want to read the one that was in the 1970s.It seems he doesn't have many besides the one I mentioned and Emporer Joker which doesn't really seem as serious and dark like the one by Brian Azzarrelo

The Killing Joke by Alan Moore and Brian Bollard is the must read for Joker, its his greatest story and inspired Heath Ledger's Joker!

    Jokers Asylum 1 & 2

(Joker telling stories about Bat-Rogues including himself)

    Joker series

(Only ran 9 issues in the 70's pretty dark but strange)

    The Last Joke

(Joker thinks hes dying so he takes on the DC Universe)

    The Joker: Devils Advocate

(Joker is framed for a crime and Batman investigates)

    Joker:Going Sane

(Joker thinks hes killed Batman and travels on a path to normalcy)

Batman Cacophony And Batman The Widening Gyre

(Written by Kevin Smith while Cacophony has an awful portrayal of Batman the portrayal of Joker and his ending are very well written as Batman and Joker discuss there relationship. Widening Gyre writes a far better Batman and gives Joker a bit of history)

Arkham Asylum:A Serious House On Serious Earth

    (Pretty Good portrayal of Joker)

    Joker 1#

(Villains month issue about Joker and a giant gorilla)

    Batman/Joker: Death Of The Family

(Shows Joker when he really lets loose what he can do)

    Batman RIP

(Theirs a Joker story going on throughout examining his transformation)

Adventures of Superman 41 to 42 (I think)

(Interesting story illustrated by Jock about Joker and Supermans First meeting)

    Joker/The Mask Crossover

    (Never Read it)

    Emperor Joker

    (Joker becomes a reality warper)

    Batman:Its Joker Time

(Joker agrees to be Pyshcoanalyzed on live tv)

    Batman: Zero Year

(Gives a possible view of who Joker was pre acid bath.)

    Batman: The Killing Joke

(If you don't know what this is about shame on you)

The Joker: Greatest Stories Ever Told

    (Collection of old Joker stories)

    ...

Didnt see Death of The Family mentioned here yet. Its technically a Batman comic with joker playing a huge part in it. Seeing as he has the bat family in the palm of his hands. I love it because it brings Joker back to his roots of being a masochistic villain, opposed to his comical appearance era.

He's got a fair amount of lead roles compared with some other Batman villains but I guess you might expect more considering he's an arch-nemesis.

I think the reason is because they want to keep him mysterious so hes more of a threat and unpredictable. If they gave him his own solo series they run the risk of him becoming like an anti hero and then he wouldnt be considered so evil and then where would dcs biggest villain be.
