Jim Lee is a Korean-American artist and writer, who shot to fame with Marvel titles such as X-Men in the 90's. He created Wildstorm under Image Comics, which he later sold to DC Comics where he acted as Editorial Director. In 2010, he became Co-Publisher of DC Comics.
Have a good one, Mr. Lee, wherever you are. I'm not your biggest fan, but listening to your interviews and life story, it's pretty inspiring to a guy like me who dreams of being an artist. And I have no idea why I'm talking as though he can hear me, but what the hell.
Interesting factoid, when Mr. Lee was still an aspiring artist, he used to repeat the names of his inspirations to get himself pumped. When he'd exercise and run on the track, he'd repeat in his head 'MILLER, BYRNE, MILLER, BYRNE' like a marching cadence. xD
