    Brief History

    Jerome Opena first came to be noticed on his work on Rick Remender's Fear Agent. But prior to this series he also penciled issues of Image's Strange Girl and Dark Horse's Star Wars Tales. Jerome was then noticed by Marvel and signed an exclusive deal with them. He then penciled the first arc of the Punisher and Moon Knight's latest series. He also penciled one shots of Wolverine and Deadpool. In 2010, Jerome was announced as the penciler on Marvel's new ongoing Uncanny X-Force, being re-united with Rick Remender. The series has received much publicity and coverage. 
     
    Jerome's style has been noted to work well with more violent themes because of his dark and 'sketchy' style. He currently working on Marvel's revamped Avengers series, as part of Marvel NOW!
