Ugh, don't get me started on the Dark Age of Marvel. All their good characters are either dead, incompetent, switched sides or totally out of character. Bendis, Fraction, Quesada and DnA are the worst offenders. That's right Cosmic fans, DnA kill too many good characters and leave useless ones alive.
@The Dark Huntress: Yes and no, obviously a certain character's heel turn and consequent death annoyed me, but it was still a decent story. But since then, they've brought back Thanos, the worst villain ever (Jim Starlin has done nothing good for the comics industry), killed Drax the Destroyer (my favourite non-Inhumans cosmic character) and changed the role of Quasar so often I don't even know who has it anymore.
I love Jean Grey, my favorite comic book character. But she needs to stay dead for a bit longer i don't see it being her time, like i know that she is coming back soon, and when she does come back i have a feeling that Marvel is gonna keep her around for a really long time.
I stopped reading when they killed Jean off again. I wish they would leave her character alone, let her have "normal" storylines like everyone else and leave Scott. Didn't he almost have an affair with Psylocke as well? He doesn't deserve my fave character.
I hate Emma although I have to admit that she and Scott work better together than Scott and Jean. S/J were becoming very boring together. I want Jean to come back, STAY back and explore other romantic entanglements. Start with Wolverine.
The stories and art haven't done anything for me of late. X-books are really off their game.

Each to there own, Rachel grey is poor develop character, she just a copy of Jean and we had to many of them. A least Jean has more to offer X-Men than her.

Agreed, what's the point of being on a team if your powerful enough to do it all on your own? She shouldn't loose her title as an omega mutant, but Iceman isn't crazy powerful either. The real problem will be she NEEDS to loose the Phoenix, and I don't know how that's gonna happen...

I think it can happen, Jean losing the phoenix. She didn't have it in the 90', she went with without for years. They just need good writer, who understand her, not someone who is a moron like Grant Morrison. They should get rid of Matt Fraction, he sucks so bad.
@time: Yeah that's ultimately what it will come down to.. It's totally possible to think of a great way to loose the Phoenix, the writers just have to be creative and not lazy (:
