Okay guys, I have a new idea. Grant Morrison, in his crazy Morrison ways, has never written a story about Jason Todd of New Earth. Look at the facts.
    1) "Jason Todd was never supposed to die" from Bat-Annual 25
    2) Red Hair Jay was from Earth-1
    3) After Infinite Crisis, the multiverse was reborn
    4)IT'S A GRANT MORRISON STORY.

Guys, I think that during Jay's travels through the multiverse, he returned and swapped places with Jay of Earth-1. On that Earth, where he was "never supposed to die", the point of divergence is that Joker ALMOST killed him. HE barely survived his wounds. He wasn't going to make it. In his desperation, Batman brought him to a Lazarus pit and dunked him. He came back with the white tuff. A complete coincidence that Jason of New Earth added that in there for affect during Hush.  Earth-1, or at least a copy of it, came to be when Superboy-Prime punched  holes in reality! This is a different Jay! This accounts for his radical personality change, and all the continuity bull that Morrison pulled on us. Our Jason is from New Earth, has dark hair, and isn't nearly so whiny. Earth-1 Jay is though. Another example, where was Jason during Blackest Night? If this Jason-1 had ever died, he would have become a Black Lantern. This is NOT the Jason of New Earth. Jason Todd of New Earth is in hiding. We haven't seen him since Countdown.

Okay, that's my theory. Thoughts? And yes, I DO know how insanely impossible it is.

.........yeah, I could see this happening. But apparently he's not told anyone, since no one else has left any clues about this........then again, its Morrison......yeah.

Why red hair needs to go. It's better if at least he's confused with the Tim or Dick since you know...successful franchise to be linked to. Jason Blood in Green Arrow:

And again Jason again in BnR 5.
