Is he a metahuman? Did he get resurrected from lazarus pit? what?
Jason Todd
Character » Jason Todd appears in 1755 issues.
Jason Todd was the second Robin, until he was brutally murdered by the Joker. After he was resurrected, Jason learned Batman didn't avenge his death. Anguished and seeking vengeance, he initially turned against his mentor and father figure and took on the Clown Prince's former identity: the Red Hood. He eventually returned to the Bat-Family and assembled a team of anti-heroes known as the Outlaws.
How did Jason Todd come back to live?
@dewboy01: A guy punched reallity so hard, that it made Jason get back into his life.
Nah, Samuel L. Jackson send a letter to DC and they bring him back.
Becuase, you alway make what Samuel L. Jackson tell you to do, or bad thing happen.
I believe there might be a sorta secret origins to Jason Todd unfolding in the pages of Red hood and the outlaws
Superboy Prime reality punch (And no that isn't a joke, that's actually what a professional writer came up with)
@joshmightbe: lol the way u said it...sounds really funny
just try explaining punching reality or punching through time to a non comicbook reader... crazy concepts

Which is why his new 52 origin is implying that thats what happened.
the movie origin on how jason got resurrected by lazarus pit sucked worse than the punch in reality, I mean, Lazarus Pits arent magical, they never explained how it can restore a human soul to its body, its a pit for healing and rejuvenating only despite its name. I t would have been better to leave the means of Jasons resurrection a secret, a mystery left open, rather put a stupid lame lazarus pit resurrection in the new 52.
