    I was reading through green lantern and I came to the issue where it shows Jade kissing Conner Hawke (Green Arrow Sidekick) on the front cover. Nothing even remotely close to that happens in the issues.
     
    Does anything become of this ever or was it just made for laughs?

    Most covers are just teaser for you. They just give you an idea about the issue but they are an add for the whatever book you are reading. Never expect them to be true so good luck next time.
