After making the Goldstar uniform Jack ends up helping Booster Gold on several adventures. One of the first things he does is help Booster go back into future to save him from a mutated virus that is killing him. They also need to fix Skeets but they need the technology to do it. Once in the future Jack and Rip Hunter end up getting separated from Booster and Goldstar however they are able to fix skeets. Later Jack and Rip even end up attempting a jail break to save Booster. Once back to their own time Jack is so trusted that Booster hires him to run a newly required High-Tech research company to help Booster and the population as a whole.
