Okay Who should face down Robert Downey Jr once Ironman 3 rolls around? You be the judge
Iron Man
Character » Iron Man appears in 11210 issues.
Tony Stark was the arrogant son of wealthy, weapon manufacturer Howard Stark. Tony cared only about himself, but he would have a change of heart after he was kidnapped by terrorists and gravely injured. Pressured to create a weapon of mass destruction, Stark instead created a suit of armor powerful enough for him to escape. Tony used his vast resources and intellect to make the world a better place as The Invincible Iron Man. Stark's super hero identity led him to become a founding member of the Avengers.
Ironman 3 Who would you like to be the Villain?
The only IM villain that I like." MADAME MASQUE "
Ghost should team up with her.
EDIT: Btw, Ultron is Hank's villain, not Tony's. =]
I feel like they might be able to pull a better story out if its not actually a mainstay villain,
an help with the cohesion into the Avengers movie. No rule says the villain can't be someone
from the MU really, and many of these offer a predictable storyline.

QFT.
where Crimson Dynamo? thats as classic as it gets and given the characters in 2 he would really tie together with the series.
I voted for Ezekiel.... but I changed my mind now. Madam Masque. Ezekiel should definitely appear in film at some point, though, imo.
" I feel like they might be able to pull a better story out if its not actually a mainstay villain,Dude, in Marvel's infinite wisdom, they had decided to merge Crimson Dynamo and Whiplash into one villain, which is what we got in Iron Man 2. There is no hope that we'll have the real Crimson Dynamo now.

i didnt buy it as Crimson Dynamo for one. Additionally Crimson Dynamo is a mantle worn by many people
throughout the years, so really not. they could introduce the next of kin or what not as the armored and
named Crimson Dynamo. so actually there's a lot of hope. (will they though, probably not but who knows).
Mandarin as the main villain and hopefully Ghost or maybe Radioactive Man as the secondary.
Masque could work as well, as long as they incorporate Nefaria and the mob as the main villains.
So far they haven't gone with magic or meta-humans in any of the Iron Man movies, bu since it ties with Thor, Avengers, Hulk etc., there shouldn't be a problem.
Mandarin. We were promised him from the beginning.
Madam Masque is a close second cause we haven't seen a female villain yet.
Blizzard would be cool to see, but I don't think he could hold his own for the main villain.
MODOK should never be in a movie. Ever, lol.

" Living Laser! "This would be my second choice.
Spymaster!
<<<<<<Or this guy......
I'm going with Ezekiel Stane cause it would be a great revenge story for the film series I mean I'd like to see the mandarin used at some point I'm just not sure how he could be incorporated into Jon Favroe Iron man without loosing credibilty
I guess if i pick one i pick Ghost, just because he makes a great opposite of Tony
and would look really cool in live action. Plus then kids would be in Ghost costumes
the next Halloween and that would be too cool.
Maderin would be really cool, or maybe bring back justin hammer as a more serious villain with maybe living laser being the physical threat
Ultimo would be a good so they could use him to setup Mandarin (even tough i think they said they weren't going to do Mandarin but oh well) then they could Blizzard, M.O.D.O.K., and Fin Fang Foom
just trying to think about the big picture
" @FadeToBlackBolt: I know Hank made Ultron but Ironman has fought him a time or two and with film adaptations it's not too out of the realm of possibility to have them fight each and since it's after the avengers movie where they'll probably have some cameo of ultron I can see it happen in Ironman 3 or an Avengers Sequel "Fair enough, but Ultron is Hank's villain the same way that the Juggernaut is the X-Men's. Just because he fought Spidey a few times doesn't mean he should show up in his movies, especially when the real rival has a film on the way.
" This movie needs to be huge, even though I know people get "annoyed" that Iron Man only fights "evil Iron Men" but really I'm personally not bothered by this, give Iron Man a good villain, even if he/she has their own suit of armor, that can be a great badguy and I'm good. But if I had a choice, I'd love to see....I say Mandarin as the main villain, with Fing Fang Foom as his ally. I don't think a giant dragon monster can handle being the main villain of a franchise like Iron Man.
"
Not to mention Foom has a ridiculous name, especially for a villain. It's like how Galactus would look stupid outside of comics, same principle applies to Foom's name (and his purple pants)
Disagree. His name is normal, now Mandarin is a stupid name. A sorcerer with a name of a fruit ? Epic fail. Foom for sure should be in the movie as a main villain, hands down. Especially if he will be made like in the picture." @War Killer said:

"
- a member of an elite intellectual or cultural group
- any high government official or bureaucrat
- a high public official of imperial China
- the dialect of Chinese spoken in Beijing and adopted as the official language for all of China
So I think it's definitely a suitable name. Also...
Plus, that argument doesn't really work in this case. You're saying that Mandarin's classic look is stupid, but your argument is that Fin Fang Foom is a better choice...
I also disagree with Mandarin looking horrible there and I'm starting to think you're just insulting the character for the heck of it, lol
Most people know that Mandarin is a dialect of Chinese. Sure there's be a few fruit jokes on the internet, but who cares? Movie audiences are still going to take him more seriously than a giant dragon called Fin Fang Foom.
