We've been seeing a little of the "All-New, All-Different Marvel" which begins after the current Secret Wars event ends. There hasn't been too much information revealed on this new Marvel Universe we'll have. We've been speculating and making assumptions based on all the new character designs that have been released.

One character that has been at the center of the two promos is Iron Man.

Many are wonder what will make him "all-new" and "all-different." Obviously the armor has changed a little. Many are wonder if perhaps Pepper Potts will be jumping into the suit and taking on the mantle of Iron Man. It would be a twist and throw off the general populace in the Marvel Universe. We also know Pepper has a bit of experience herself when it comes to wearing armored suits. Perhaps it will be someone other than Tony Stark.

What we do know at the moment is who the creative team will be on a new Iron Man series. At this year's Special Edition New York and at Marvel's 'Next Big Thing Panel,' it was announced.

Who will be the writer and artist for the upcoming INVINCIBLE IRON MAN?

Brian Michael Bendis and David Marquez. Marquez (and colorist Matt Wilson) are responsible for all the wonderful new character designs we've been seeing.

Who is this new Iron Man? Is it Tony Stark or someone else? Stay tuned for more information when it becomes available.

Reports from Special Edition New York are saying Bendis has mentioned it's Tony Stark in the armor.

From USA Today:
Bendis calls Invincible Iron Man "a futurist's look at what he has to do next as a superhero" — the series picks up eight months after the conclusion of the current event series Secret Wars with Tony wanting to be a better man in every aspect of his life. (The recently wrapped Superior Iron Man comic had him based in San Francisco and being more of a jerk than usual.)

In addition to his weaponry, Iron Man's also getting a larger cast of characters, many of them new. Fans of Stark pals Pepper Potts and Happy Hogan will get to see them again at some point, but Bendis says he is instead focusing on introducing folks such as a love interest "who is smarter than him," the writer says. "He can't just be snarky Tony Stark and woo her. He's got to earn her, and even that's a challenge.

Bendis also plans on picking up the plot thread from Kieron Gillen's run with Tony being adopted. He plans on exploring who Tony's parents really are.

I thought he was going to be writing Jessica Jones or Daredevil again, but whatever. I am very optimistic about All New, All Different Marvel. I love how fans are always bitching about stuff. It just goes to prove this comic book proverb:

There are two times fans will bitch: When things change, and when things stay the same.

I think it's hilarious people think All New Marvel will be bad. Why? Two reasons:

1. It hasn't even begun yet, how can they say it's bad from two promos?!

2. Marvel has been planning this for YEARS. They KNOW what DC did wrong at the New 52 (don't worry, DC fan[boys], I still think the New 52 got SOME things right, like Green Arrow when Jeff Lemire came along) and they have (hopefully) learned from their mistakes.

I'm keeping an open mind, as I think this could be the greatest time for Marvel. I think that they should get around the #1 sales gimmick: they said they are treating this like "Seasons". So do one thing: In "Season 1" go from issue #1 to 15 or something. Then put a big #1 on issue 16, to signify that it is a new jumping on point, but keep the 16 number somewhere on the cover. That way, the book could go to freaking issue 600 without being completely renumbered, but with the #1 appearing every 15-20 or so issues, yet keeping the original numbering on the cover. I actually think this would solve the problem people have with new #1's (which is kind of annoying to me as well)

I'm pretty excited for this book though. And I think I know who the New Iron Man is, but just in case my theory is right, I will put a spoiler tag on it.

Pretty sure it's not Pepper. Tom Breevort confirmed in an interview that this Iron Man is a "he", but wouldn't say if it was Tony or not.

I'd prefer them to Bendis. I'm pretty sure he'll be writing something related to Spider-man, though.

I'm guessing that this is actually run by a Tony Stark AI, like the one featured in Superior Iron Man. In that comic the armours eyes light up blue like this ones, indicating that it is AI controlled.

@g_man: that would be awesome, though I think it will be a book titled "Wolverine(s)" and will star both X-23 and Old Man Logan. I'm pretty sure he's her teacher. Oh, and my theory is wrong. I have been following a Facebook page for several months now that is dedicated to theories about Secret Wars, and it turns out that A) Yes, Old Man Logan is in the New Marvel Universe B) We'll find out who Tony Stark's real parents are and C) Yes, it is Tony in the armor. I have a feeling that it is the Tony Stark from Ultimate End (the one in the armor in Ultimate End, not the one without) or the one from Armor Wars.

Oh, and D) they said at the panel that "Charles Soule kills Wolverine, two more take his place" (a Hydra reference, of course). This kind of confirms my theory that Old Man Logan and Laura will be the "Wolverines", with Laura as wolverine and Logan training her.

I'm really glad he is back to having the title "Invincible." I would have really rathered Taylor kept writing Iron Man because he did an amazing job at it.

I think that picture has 14 panels too many....this still doesn't make me want to pick up an Iron Man book, sad.

I'm really looking forward to this. David Marquez art looks amazing in that promo shown. And I enjoyed Bendis DD run a lot so hopefully that great writing pours into this new book.

I can think of any number of different ways for Sentry to have been handled so he worked... Mostly because I HATE it, no I DESPISE it, when good characters get the shaft as bad as Sentry did because at one point? He WAS a good character.

And that's my gripe with Bendis..... I feel I'm missing the point on something but what could it be?

Wont be buying this as its Bendis, also to people still asking who this Iron Man is, if you actually read the description in this article it says its Tony, how people missed that I do not know. Whether its the 616 or 1610 ver we dont know, but we do know this.

I'm guessing that whoever is in that suit, is a young clone of Tony Stark. Or someone, a young genius who was inspired by Tony's work.

With this new look of his original costume and new characters coming up, this will be pretty good.

I'm hoping it's not a young Stark. It'd be déjà vu for The Crossing.

@the_impersonator: no in an interview it was confirmed it is 100% Tony Stark that we all know and (sometimes) love, meaning 616
