    Invincible 100

    The Good

This is one of the GREATEST superhero titles out! Robert Kirkman has really reinvented the way that most people see superheroes. Mainly the stereotype of good always triumphs over evil. The INVINCIBLE book is proof that things do not always turn out good for the heroes.

The last issue of the Death of Everyone is one of the best I've read in this series. Though having missed issues 91-99, I was at a disadvantage of knowing all the events that took place before issue 100. However, Robert Kirkman really did a great job at referring to past events to catch up readers [like me] that have missed out on the last couple of issues. From the beginning till the end, Kirkman keeps the reader on the edge of their seat making every page a journey and a "what's gonna happen next" moment.

The way I see it INVINCIBLE is a successful title because of Robert Kirkman's attitude towards the characters. He is not afraid of creating adversaries that are more powerful than the heroes and especially not afraid of killing off major characters. If anything, the adversaries that have appeared in the series that have been more powerful than Invincible have helped his character development. Especially when it comes to the terms of his moral code.

The joint talent of artist Ryan Ottley, the inks by Cliff Rathburn, and the colors by John Rauch pull together the grand story telling by Robert Kirkman. The artwork in this series is just so powerful and amazing, Ottley's pencils for the series have always been great and the colors and ink flow really well [especially with the fight in the beginning]. The artist have my round of applause for pulling off another masterpiece.

    The Bad

    No complaints.

    The Verdict

With the ending of this 100th issue and the plans for the future, now is the best time to become a fan of INVINCIBLE! The creative team behind INVINCIBLE have pulled off another great story arc.
