Background

Amalgam's Insect Queen is based in Marvel's Mary Jane Watson and DC's Lana Lang's Insect Queen identity.

Biography

A meteorite infected aspiring actress Mary Jane with radiation, with the radiation altering her DNA to resemble insects and aracnids and she decided to become a hero. Barely beginning her super-heroing a friend's mother set her up on a blind date with Pete Ross (a.k.a. Spider-Boy). Insect Queen found a kindred spirit in Spider-Boy and the two eventually married. It has yet to be seen how the two will handle being partners in marriage and partners in crime fighting.
