I have noticed that Inhumans seems to be extremely popular here. From the decriptions I've read they seem to be very similar to the X-Men.

I'm curious to know what fans on CV like about the team and series.

Well Sony doesn't own the Inuhuman's movie and TV rights... and Black Bolt is amazing... Like way better than any X-Man IMO. So there are 2 things.

I don't think the InHumans are particularly liked here. In fact it seemed the opposite to me. Personally I neither love or hate them.

I always find Black Bolt kind of odd because he's supposed to be a genius and yet he can't find a work around to talking. Which there are at least a few, sign language, pen and paper to write notes, flash cards that he can point to that says yes or no, or even a blink communication system or one of these fancy things called a phone that he can use to text his wife. It all seems so silly. Also Black Bolt's issue/limitation seems eerily similar to Cyclops, Black Bolt can't speak without accidentally blowing stuff up and Cyclops can't take off his glasses/visor without blowing things up.

I don't find Inhumans better or worse than X men they're just another variety of super powered people, their origin stories don't really mean that much to me either way. I'm more interested in how they use their powers than how they got them.
