Did you enjoy Pixar's The Incredibles ? That's a movie I'd love to see a sequel for. Since we can't have that just now, why not a comic? I do have to say that The Incredibles does (obviously) work as a comic. Have you read any of the issues?
It's a fun comic. The art and color just work. Obviously Mark Waid knows how to write superheroes as well. I would suggest trying to track down the first three issues.
