Little is know about the life and history of the S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Iceboy. He was the artilleryman of the Task Force, a military team part of the Euromind, the European Division of the S.H.I.E.L.D., whose primary duty was protect the scientific operation of Euromind.

Iceboy had a very high military training, having worked for years for the S.H.I.E.L.D. alongside veteran agents as Dum Dum Dugan, and was a great friend of Tiger, is teammate. Since he was Canadian, he was the only non-european member of the Task Force.

Investigating an U.F.O. crash in Malaysia, the Task Force was ambushed by a trio of high-tech japanese mercenary called Lords of War. After the dead of Blue Condor, Iceboy was knocked out and captured by A.I.M. scientis working for the Nadir Inc., and undergo some terrible experiment.

When Euroforce attack the A.I.M. base to free him, they discover that Iceboy into a test-tube horribly mutated into a huge green monster, alongside dozen of other victim of the experiment. Freed by his friends Tiger and Key, Iceboy go berserker for the shock, realizing the truth about what the A.I.M. have done to him, and attack the A.I.M. soldiers, slauthering them. He die some minutes later, since his mutation was still unstable.

Powers

As human, Iceboy have no real superpowers, but have a set of military skills due to his long experience with Canadian Forces and as Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. He seem specialized in heavy weapon, since his primary weapon of choice is a sort of high-tech M61 Vulcan Cannon.

As a mutated creature he was extremelly strong, shown great resistence to any attack made by A.I.M. soldiers, and was armed with claws and berserker fury.

Note

The real name of Iceboy was never officially stated in the original Europa serie, but at one time his friend Tiger call him "Alain". However, in later official Marvel Handbook and Site is stated that his real name is Hamish Carlyle. So we may assume that his real complete name is Hamish Alain Carlyle.
