Yeah this is uber crap they cancel I,Vampire but don't cancel The Fury of Firestorm

I am going to miss this series, saddly i just picked up vol.1 trade on friday :(

the last month figures put it around 12,846 copies, almost a thousand copies more than the critically panned Fury of the Firestorm which wasnt cancelled, so much for sales not being a huge factor in cancellations

Sad... :/ I was really enjoying this hopefully I don't lose JLD need some of the DC Dark stuff!

S'a true shame.

Wish DC could go without scrapping more than 2 books every four months. I know it is to save money or whatever, but dang. Some characters would have been great to see around for longer than they lasted.

@Twentyfive: I know and the said not to worry if they books get cancelled because the characters would be seen in other books but has anybody seen Captain Atom or Static since?

Since the zero issue Captain Atom has almost completely taken over Firestorm.

Maybe Andrew Bennett should go back to high school and hook up with lots of high school students.

G Man's goning to be devestated. Oh well, at least I can buy the trades, thought this would be a long lasting series.

It seems weird that this has happened. It's not even the lowest selling New 52 title, and I've heard it's really good. I hear Frankenstein was really popular and it's been cancelled too.

And yet I've heard nothing but negativity towards Batwing, and there's no news of it's cancellation.

Such a good series, I wish DC did a little more PR on this title.

At least Fialkov knew of its impending cancellation and stated that he will be able to wrap up the story in an awesome way.

I hate this. This is a really good book. I understand that DC has to make money and all, I just wish readers would check into these quality titles that get overlooked because of all of the big names in other books. I hope these characters go on to appear in other things at least, particularly Tig. I love her. x.X

Such a shame. A really underrated and unknown title. Sadly, the current market only really likes regular superhero books. At least we're getting a short complete story, though.

For all of the people blaming other books, ever thought that other people either hated vampires post-Twilight and saw how this book initially appeared very Twilight-esque, or simply disliked vampires in general(like me).

Are you serious? This is like saying "that Flash book got cancelled because of people who don't like Flash". Of course not everyone is going to feel attracted to this book, it's impossible to appeal to everyone.

But yes, the biggest reason this book was cancelled is because people weren't able to look past their Batman comic books and try something different.

Such a shame, I'm glad I tried the first issue after all the positive reviews her on ComicVine. I've been a massive fan since (up to date on all the single issues) and I'll probably get all the paperback trades after they are all released. 
 
He's hoping Bennett and crew pop up elsewhere in the New 52! :)

Hopefully they keep Andrew Bennett in Justice League Dark! I really like him!

But seriously I usually dont get mad over comic stuff but this soooo pisses me off. This series was so AMAZING. Man...why DC...WHYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!

Maybe they should've included a muscular werewolf ?

This is depressing. Well if they are going to replace one of the good dark titles of DC I hope they replace it with another awesome title.

It's horrible, to me this was easily the best of "The Dark" titles.
