    I hate vampires. I just can't get into them. I've never liked a vampire movie, book, TV show, you name it. Don't even get me started on Twilight.I LOVE THIS BOOK!At first I thought it would be mediocre, and only picked it up at my wife's urging. Now I read it before I pass it on to her. This issue is the best yet. Batman's appearance is not overplayed, and he really only plays a cameo role to say the least. It would be tough to leave him out, as the war with the Vampires seems to be starting on ...

    This issue lets you know you're in for a treat from the very start. We're FINALLY rid of the curse of the mediocre or misleading covers that has plagued this series from the start. The amazing and talented Andrea Sorrentino is handling the covers now, properly representing the material contained within.We're finally given a look at things through Andrew Bennett's eyes. He's been the focal point around which this series revolved, but we've never gotten to see things from his perspective. But all ...

    This issue is neither particularly noteworthy, nor particularly bad but as an incentive to keep reading this series doesn't necessarily hit its mark either.  The issue basically follows the group of heroes as they descend into the darkness to fight Mary and her group of vampires and really all that happens is a issue long battle.  There are a few interesting twists (and notably the last one) but the main problem with them is that they involve a bit too much of vampire lore specific to only these...
