    BackgroundThe idea for Hellboy in Mexico came out of drawing that Mike Mignola did of Hellboy standing atop a pile of dead monsters with his arm around a Mexican wrestler. The bottom of the drawing was the words "Palenque Mexico- June 2, 1956". This led Mike to dub June 2, 1956, to be Hellboy's "Lost Weekend", a five-month span where Hellboy went to Mexico and was found 5 months later, drunk in a bar with little to no memory of what he had doing over those months.The Story Hellboy meets a trio o...
