Kit Ryan gives Constantine one more chance to live a normal life with her. When he hesitates she leaves him and kicks him out of the apartment. Constantine gets in a bar fight but is rescued by Chas Chandler. John shows his appreciation by telling Chas to piss off. Chas beats John senseless and nearly drowns him in the toilet. John spends the night drunk and alone in a cemetery.
