    Short summary describing this issue.

Desperately Seeking Something last edited by gravenraven on 05/30/23 11:33PM View full history

The 10 year Anniversary issue. Set in a bar, drinking with John Constantine and just talking about the last 10 years.

This is a story where real world horror and the Hellblazer comics are blurred. What is Magic? What is fiction? These questions are asked.

There is also cameos from past and present (at the time) Hellblazer creators who interact with John. the famed and most talked about Cameo is the Alan Moore appearance in the Shadow. This is talked about because of the fact Alan Moore has mentioned meet John Constantine in the real world a few times.

By the end of this meta-fiction issue, we are left to decide if John is real? Is his stories, just stories? Will we come to the bar again once a month and drunk up and listen to him speak?

Issue #120 marked 10 years of Hellblazer.  Crazy if you think about it, but Hellblazer reached #250 not to long ago.  This series has been around for a long time.  This year (2010) as well marked 25 years of John Constantine, this was celebrated by Vertigo with the release of the Original Graphic novel Pandemonium.  As my little celebration for John Constantine, I wanted to mark my 120th review with this special to my heart issue.  Hellblazer 120 is my favorite of all Paul Jenkin'...
